late lunch and walked into Norwich.
Sunday 25th May
Walked into Norwich, riverside walk,
to Cow Tower; an English Heritage building built as a city defence; the only EH place in Norwich.
Continued along the river and then onto the cathedral . After walking around we found a small pub called tge Adam and Eve, believed to be the oldest pub in Norwich, serving some decent beer.
We discovered that we are in the city's fine ales week, where participating pubs stamp a book once you've bought an ale in there. Once the book is completed then you are entitled to the prize of a tee shirt. We'll never do all in a couple of days.
